Dear Parents,
Singapore Athletics has developed the fourth instalment of the Exercise Workout Routine. We hope to assist children not being able to attend school during the coronavirus outbreak.
Please be reminded that adult supervision is required.
This is only a recommended exercise video routine and your child should perform it at their own pace.
To the young athletes who have been following and keeping fit, kudos to you and keep up with excellent effort and the good work! Let’s get ready for exercise routine #4.
Please do not continue with the exercises if you do not feel well. Listen to your body. Hydrate yourself regularly.

In line with PM Lee Hsien Loong’s address and the Multi-Ministry Taskforce’s announcement on the extension of circuit breaker period and additional measures on 21 April 2020, SA office and SA High-Performance facility access (HOA) are closed until 1st June 2020 pending CCB measures.
SA will review thereafter and adhere to the directives issued and valid as of 2nd Jun 2020.

A World Athletics initiative, three of Track and field titans Renaud Lavillenie (FRA), Mondo Duplantis (SWE) and Sam Kendricks (USA) have come up with a virtual competition idea to get together – at a safe distance – and bring some competitive live-action to fans.
The Ultimate Garden Clash – Pole Vault Edition – the three world-class athletes take on each other from the safety of their own backyard in a unique pole vault competition for the times we find ourselves living in.
It will be live-streamed on World Athletics YouTube, Twitter and Facebook pages.
Competition date and time

Date: w/c 20 April, exact day to be decided on weather conditions in the three locations
Time: Between 5:00PM – 6:30PM CET (10:00AM – 11:30AM CST)
Competition format:
- Renaud is in Clermont-Ferrand, France
- Sam is in Oxford, Mississippi
- Mondo is in Lafayette, Louisiana
- 3 athletes, 3 different nationalities, 3 different pole vault facilities
- 3 bars at 5 metres, 30 min to clear as many bars as possible
Note: Singapore is 6 hours ahead of Central European Time.
