Singapore Masters Athletics (SMA), an affiliate of SA, has been provisionally suspended until 10 September 2019 as investigations are being conducted into the complaints and allegations made against them by the other Affiliates of Singapore Athletics (SA).
SA will cease to recognise all SMA activities for the duration of the suspension, and all privileges and benefits due to Affiliates will be withheld.
SMA has been directed to continue assisting with the registrations for the 21st Asian Masters Meet in Kuching, Sarawak (2-6 December 2019) to ensure that all masters athletes interested in registering for the aforementioned event are registered with the organizers within the given time period without the need for qualification or meeting any selection criteria.
