    Clinic background:

The 100m / 110m hurdle sprint is one of the most challenging athletic events. Clearing a hurdle at high-speed running requires a high level of rhythm and balance, speed, and strength. We’ll discuss the basic principles and how to introduce them to your athletes. Our focus will be on the take-off into the hurdle and the acceleration towards the 1st hurdle. Some of our national hurdlers will demonstrate their skills during a practice session before we’re heading for a question & answer afterward.
