Singapore Athletic Association is going to conduct a Sprint Workshop for coaches and athletes that will take place on Saturday, 22 April 2017 at 2pm. This workshop will look closely at sprint techniques for acceleration and maximum velocity phase. It may also be beneficial for the middle/long distance runners and jumpers. It will enable participants to relook at their training methods and get feedback from the speaker. This sprint workshop will be conducted by SA Technical Director, Mr Volker Hermann and is open to all coaches.

Event: Sprints Workshop 2017

Date: 22 April 2017

Time: 2pm (Workshop duration around 90 minutes)

Venue: Singapore Sports Institute (SSI) Seminar Room (It is located at Singapore Sports Hub near the Sport Singapore (SportSG) reception.)

Cost: Free

Coaches and Athletes are welcomed.

Please RSVP your attendance to us by Friday, 19 April 2017 at sdp@singaporeathletics.org.sg with your name and contact number.

To be eligible to participate in the Youth Olympic Games, athletes must have been born between 1 January 2001 and 31 December 2002.

Dear Coaches and Athletes,

SA would be having a coaches and athletes dialogue on two separate dates. It would be appreciated to have your presence as we move athletics forward.

We would like to hear feedback from the ground and also introduce our Technical Director to everyone.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE 2 DIFFERENT DATES FOR COACHES AND ATHLETES.

Coaches – 10 April 2017, 7:30pm commence dialogue (Dinner served at 7pm) at SIRC Seminar Room, Singapore Sports Hub

Athletes – 11 April 2017, 7:30pm commence dialogue (Dinner served at 7pm) at National Youth Sports Institute – Kallang Theatre.
