The venue for this event has been changed from Bukit Gombak stadium to Choa Chu Kang stadium.
Also to accommodate our Muslim athletes who will be fasting in the holy month of Ramadan, we have pushed back the schedule timings.

If you were at the Waterfront Promenade @ Marina Bay earlier at mid-day you might spot an unusual sight of a meandering queue formed at The Event Square.
You might think it was a queue for a Hello Kitty figurine, a craze that has overtaken Singapore by storm but no actually, it was another form of queue by no less devoted Singaporeans who are into running.
These hardcore weekend warriors and amateur runners are actually in-line for the early launch of the upcoming Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore 2013.
The marathon in its 28th edition will be held on the 1st of December.
Held every first Sunday of December, the IAAF Gold Label race is slated to cater to some 62,000 participants and Singapore Athletic Association are the proud sanctioning body for this event.

Our national 4x100m relays boys are still chasing that IAAF World Championship qualifying mark of 39.20 seconds and they have a very good chance of doing so with the top notch teams participating in the upcoming 20th Asian Athletics Championships.
Held between 3-7th July in Pune, India, our relay team will be competing on Day 3 of the competition. The 4×100 metres men heats event will be held at 5:50pm local time.
Currently their season-best and current national record (pending SAA ratification) is 39.45 seconds held last May at the second-leg of the Asian Grand Prix.
All the best boys.
