The Singapore Athletic Association recently had a gathering at ITE College East, Simei, last Saturday, with parents, athletes and coaches in attendance.

It was a meeting for the association to recap the season we had. Thank you for those who came down, and the exchange of ideas and feedback in the dialogue session has been insightful for both parties.

We do hope to have more of such sessions, and we’ll update you via the website of our quarterly meeting in the future. Below is the media files for those who missed the event.

Mr.K shares his experiences

There’s nothing like listening to Mr.K and hear his stories of his exploits at the Asian and SEA Games. Truly a remarkable man, who still inspires the athlete in all of us.

The Importance of Sports Science

Mr. K is an advocate of the importance of sports science, and the association has exciting plans to bring some of the expertise in such a field to the local scene, to help coaches and athletes alike, in the coming future.

Athlete Support

One of the issue SAA recognizes is the lack of support level that’s results in the high attrition rate for athletes in the junior to senior level transition. Mr. Kunalan spoke on such a topic in the below video.
